Designed to dig deep and shake the walls with movies while still sounding tight, controlled and focused with music, the Epik Knight has redefined its price point. It may be our entry-level subwoofer, but there is nothing entry-level about its performance and build quality. The Knight was designed to provide the room pressurizing performance that you usually have to pay many times its price to achieve.

Possibly our most difficult subwoofer to design, it needed to provide enough output to fill even a large listening room. It had to sound musical and clean, yet still deliver thunderous lows. We also wanted it to be bulletproof at even the highest output levels. The difficulty was to achieve all this for under $800. The Knight delivers.

Its high-excursion 15” driver immediately separates it from nearly everything in its price range. With its matching CNC-routed enclosure, designed, manufactured and built in our own factory here in Crystal Lake IL, the two combine to achieve a very high efficiency design. They can produce a lot of output without a lot of power needed.

What this translates to is better dynamics, sound quality and output versus smaller drivers and smaller cabinets. Thanks to the design of the cabinet and driver, it can achieve greater overall output and low frequency performance with the same amplifier power as our competitors. It gives the Knight an effortless sound, free from compression. Audiophiles and movie buffs alike will revel in its clear, potent low end.

The Knight was also designed to deliver everything you want in a subwoofer without having to make a “choice” between low and loud. There are subwoofers that make the customer choose between playing lower or playing louder overall. When you pick low, it won’t play as loud. When you pick loud, it won’t play as low.

Our subwoofer does not make you choose. It just does both right from the start, and you would be surprised at the results. Choosing the “louder” option on many of our competitors’ subwoofers in this price range still won’t match our overall output. Not even close.

This results in the two kinds of bass that customers love. It gives you the chest-slamming power that adds impact to movies and music alike. Along with this, it delivers that window flexing low end that completely pressurizes your room during the ultimate low frequency passages.
